Upon registration, each student is given an assessment, which will place him or her in the appropriate level.
The program consists of three levels:
KS Level A: The student becomes acquainted with the Spanish language. Emphasis is on comprehension, conversation and word recognition.
KS Level B: Builds upon the vocabulary and structures of KS A to achieve a higher level of comprehension and conversation. Emphasis is on beginning level reading and writing.
KS Level C: Builds on Levels KS A and KS B to achieve an even higher level of comprehension and conversation. Emphasis is placed on grammatical concepts, analytical skills and cultural lessons.
At the end of all the programs, students will have an opportunity to participate in a final presentation. This performance exposes children to public speaking and gives them a sense of accomplishment and completion. We encourage the attendance of parents, relatives and friends to this event.
Your Options
· During the week we offer an “After School Enrichment Program” which takes place at various area schools.
· On Saturday we offer programs at Northern Virginia Community College (NVCC), Alexandria Campus.
· Additionally, welcome the opportunity to customize the right program for your child and for your school.
