KidSpanish combines various learning methods into an interactive language and drama program designed by linguists specifically for children.

The program then develops the most effective learning experience for each student through fun, interactive skits, which motivate students to learn Spanish at the prime of their linguistic development.

The KidSpanish program consists of 45 minute interactive exercises, geared towards helping children acquire the necessary tools for mastering the Spanish language. It is successful at helping children communicate their ideas and needs using the Spanish language. By entering the world of Spanish literature and drama, children learn the language as they initially learned English when they were toddlers, absorbing the meaning of words by their actions and from the reactions and behaviors of others.

Research on left/right brain differences and on learning styles and personality suggest that each child best learns through a combination of the four main learning styles.  KidSpanish  combines Visual, Aural, Reading/Writing and Kinesthetic learning into an interactive language/drama program specifically designed for children by linguists.  The program brings out the best learning experience in each of our students. Fun interactive skits motivate our students to learn a foreign language during the critical period for language development.

The developmentally appropriate KidSpanish program for children, who typically learn in 20 minutes spans, consists of two 45-minute sessions per week geared towards helping children acquire the practice necessary for mastering the Spanish language.

KidSpanish is successful at getting children to communicate their ideas and needs in the Spanish language.  By entering the world of Spanish literature and drama, children will learn the language as they initially learned English when they were toddlers, they will absorb meaning by acting out the scenes and from the reactions and behaviors of other characters in the scene.

Research has shown that participating in the arts and languages enhances student’s performance in other academic subjects.  Skills acquired at KidSpanish will foster children’s academic confidence, self-esteem, and ultimately help students achieve higher scores on standardized testing.
